Got my motorcycle license in California

Yesterday was a very happy day for me. I received in the mail the Basic Riders Course receipt for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) so that I could take the written test and get my Motorcycle license.

After checking the mail and seeing that I had the form, I had to go take the test right away. The excitement took over and it was something I had to go do immediately.

All in all, it was a good experience. I was lucky that it was around lunchtime (12PM) and there were not many people at the DMV. It probably took me around an hour to finally get to the front-desk and hand them over my paperwork. After some verification and picture taking, I was on my way to the testing area to take my test.

Once I got there the clerk gave me two test, the motorcycle M1 written test which had 36 questions and in order to pass you needed to answer 32 questions correctly. Finally, he gave me the Class C license test, where I had to answer 15 questions correctly out of a total of 18 questions in order to renew the license along with the M1 class.

Took me two hours in line, but finally achieved my goal! Now I am legally licensed to drive Motorcycles and just need to wait for my new ID to arrive in the mail. Can you say stoked? — now onto looking for the perfect bike.
